I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Kent State University where I graduated Magna Cum Laude. My focus area is in Organizational Communication with a sub-focus in Public Communication. During my time at Kent State I became a member of several organizational societies. Additionally, I acted as a student leader within the Communication Department at Kent State University serving as the Vice President of the National Communication Honor Society.
While working towards my BA I pursued two unique scholarship opportunities that provided the foundation for my ultimate career path. My first scholarship was awarded to me by the Cleveland chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC). With this scholarship I attended the Heritage Regional Conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to partake in a mentor program for college students. During this conference I networked with and was simultaneously immersed in the whole IABC organization - from that experience I established multiple professional relationships that significantly contributed to my career development. The second scholarship I received was awarded to me by The Prague Freedom Foundation (PFF) and required me study abroad internationally in Prague. Through my PFF Scholarship I functioned as a Vaclav Havel Ambassador in the Czech Republic conducting cross-cultural comparison research.
Also during my time at Kent State I implemented and led the production of a food drive project called Giving Food, Giving Love. Ultimately, the project collected 3,800 units of food that were donated to the Kent State Campus Kitchen. This donation was noted as the largest single donation in their history.
Currently, I am an Operations Manager and Marketing Manager for an international commercial real estate company in Cleveland, Ohio. I have provided access to a version of my resume below.
